An online Inventory, Volunteer Management, and Fundraising platform. Built by food banks, for food banks. Proudly Canadian
FeedKit.ca is built from the ground up with a modular approach. Select only the modules you need to support your food bank’s operations. Each tool in our system is designed to work independently or in conjunction with others, as well as with widely used platforms.
FeedKit is designed to help Canadian food banks meet and exceed the Standards of Excellence (SOE) established by Food Banks Canada. Supporting SOE compliance strengthens operational effectiveness and increases eligibility for core funding and grants.

Quickly visualize your inventory with an intuitive drag-and-drop map. Know what you have, where it is, and what needs to move next.
Classify inventory by customizable nutritional categories to support informed stocking decisions.
From individual cans to full warehouses, FeedKit scales with your organization. Track inventory in the units and volume that make sense for your operations.
Developed in close collaboration with front-line food bank staff. FeedKit is shaped by real-world workflows, not by detached office assumptions.
Our designers got sick of other software solutions restrictive and time consuming data entry solutions. Often, in a fast paced environment, staff don't have time to make perfect entries. We've designed this system to allow users to quickly enter as much data as they can, and fill in the blanks later. Our system has a rich toolset focused on easy cleanup, so when you're busy, you aren't held back, and when things slow down, it's easy to go back and fill in gaps
Every page is designed for mobile, and physical labels act as entry points. QR codes allow users to quickly pull up inventory, and modify, move, or update stock on any device.
Assign quizzes and knowledge tests to volunteers to support documentation requirements under the Standards of Excellence framework. Improve both training outcomes and compliance readiness.
Track volunteer hours accurately with our simple start/stop timers, available across multiple devices.
Assign volunteers by role and training level. FeedKit tracks completed role-specific training (e.g., driver, warehouse) so you can easily match qualified volunteers to each shift and ensure every task is covered correctly.
Digitize volunteer intake to eliminate paper processes and reduce admin workload for coordinators.
Process credit and debit cards with confidence. Built on Stripe, our processor is PCI compliant and worry free
Set up quickly, view real-time fundraising dashboards, and manage donations with ease.
Issue tax receipts in one click, export donation data in multiple formats, and unlock insights with simple, powerful reports.
FeedKit’s built-in email tool connects directly with your existing system data. Easily communicate with targeted groups of volunteers, clients, vendors, or donors.
Create reusable templates with smart fields for personalization. Preview messages before sending them for quality assurance.
This module is priced solely to cover the costs of infrastructure. Our goal is to make critical communication tools accessible without inflating your operating budget.
Built in collaboration with food bank directors and staff to deliver practical, foodbank-specific, actionable reports tailored to sector-specific needs.
We prioritize accuracy and transparency. FeedKit uses proven statistical forecasting to help you plan ahead, without relying on unstable AI-generated output.
Export reports in the formats you need, including print-ready versions. Reduce administrative friction and streamline your workflow.
FeedKit was created in response to exploitative pricing models in the sector. We price just above cost to support both our developers and clients. We also help food banks access grants to cover software costs. There is no venture capital, no external ownership—just a mission to serve.
At Microsoft, they call it "eating your own dog food"—using what you build every day. Our team consists of food bank staff and volunteers who utilize FeedKit in real time. This gives us a direct line to the pain points and priorities that matter most
Developers should be users too.
We don’t measure success by profit. FeedKit is guided by impact: meals served, staff hours saved, and stress reduced. Our team members are food bank professionals first, and we’re transitioning into full-time FeedKit work only as needed. No debt, no outside pressure—just long-term focus and shared success.
